2. Cushman-Roisin and Beckers's Introduction to Geophysical Fluid Dynamics, Chapters 11, 12.1-12.6, and 15.1.
3. Tomczak and Godfrey's Regional Oceanography: An Introduction, Chapters 2 and 3
4. Stratified Flow Movie (Needs Realplayer).
